Cookies and analytics

We set one cookie, which keeps you signed in and links rooms you made before signing up to your browser. The app needs it to work. Our analytics set no cookies and store nothing in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies.

Advertising

We do not currently show ads. Some pages have placeholder spaces reserved for future ads or sponsors. They load nothing from an ad network. We record in analytics when one is shown. If we add ads, we will update this policy first.

Selling and sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with the service providers below, to run the app.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We do not change how the app works in response to Do Not Track signals. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We already do neither, so the signal is honored by default.

Service providers

  • Vercel hosts the app and keeps request logs.
  • Neon hosts the Postgres database.
  • Stripe processes payments for paid plans.
  • PostHog provides product analytics.

Each processes data for us under its own terms.

Your choices

In the app you can delete rooms, turn off share links, cancel a subscription with Manage billing on the Upgrade page, and delete your account in Account settings. Deleting your account deletes its rooms, layouts, images and share links, and cancels any subscription. Feedback you sent stays, without your account linked to it. To see, correct or get a copy of your data, write to contact@miltinson-technologies.com.

Your privacy rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, give you a copy in a portable format, correct it or delete it. Write to contact@miltinson-technologies.com from the email address on your account, or tell us how to confirm the request is yours. We respond within 45 days. If we decline any part of a request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and we will answer the appeal within 45 days.

Consumer health data

We do not collect consumer health data as defined by Washington’s My Health My Data Act.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections and one-way password hashes. No method of storing or sending data is completely secure.

Children

Home Theater Planner is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, write to contact@miltinson-technologies.com and we will delete it.
